not very inspiring hotel about 15mins walk from kings cross railway/tube. it is not “elegant� as some site has described it! it is middle of the road, having a bit of a “travel lodge� vibe happening with squeezy shower/shampoo gel in the bathroom, which i always think is a no no unless the hotel is ultra cheap, which this holiday inn isn’t. it was clean.

i had a twin room (beds were queen size). if you are big, the room is short on space to move around in (e.g. between beds and the table along the wall). Tea and coffee facilities hidden away and not very inspiring. meant i forgot about it.

bathroom is looking pretty tired and bit grubby.

swimming pool is disappointingly small, the reason why i chose it in the first place. i also thought it was a bit cheeky to charge me (£2.50) to use the facility.

generally avoid.
